We are searching for a candidate (m/f/diverse) who drives and shapes internal communication and consistent messaging globally in line with the overall strategy of Continental Tires and confidently communicates with stakeholders, locations, and cross-functional teams to gain the support and alignment necessary to make an impact.
These are your main tasks:
  • Driving and shaping internal communication and consistent communication in line with the overall Continental Tires strategy to increase awareness of our business goals and competencies, contributing to internal identification and external business success
  • Translating the business strategy program "Vision 2030" into engaging stories and content for employees worldwide
  • Development and management of strategic communication plans for the tire sector
  • Steering of editorial and content planning with the internal communication community of the Tires business areas, central functions and regions/markets
  • Support internal communication activities and strategic initiatives of the Tires business units, central functions and regions/markets
  • Fostering collaboration, engagement and information sharing in a networked and decentralized organizational structure
  • Taking responsibility for organizing and conducting internal employee events and townhall meetings, regular management information meetings, and executive conferences
  • Ensuring development of conceptual and strategic content (articles, statements, FAQs, podcasts, videos, imagery, presentations, speeches etc.) for internal media, platforms and channels
  • Steering and controlling budget
  • Leadership responsibility and development of the own team members
  • Academic degree in Communication, Cultural Studies or Business Administration or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in leading a communications department and managing integrated communication campaigns, clear dedication to internal and HR communications
  • Profound knowledge in the production of communications materials (e.g. ability to judge layouts, texts, multimedia products; ability to lead a network of external suppliers)
  • Ability to establish and steer strategic communication planning and execution of communication plans
  • Profound experience in event and project management
  • Experience in leading people, external agencies and project teams
  • Experience in handling complex communication projects
  • High empathy, intercultural experience and strong stakeholder management skills, ability to engage and to inspire people
  • Experience in consulting senior leaders and board members on their communications approach and supporting transformation & change management communication
  • Business fluent English and German language skills (written and spoken)
  • Excellent writing skills (in German and English)
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10-20 %) international
