Our Hogansville, GA location is seeking a part time HR Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate is a team player, dependable, and works well within a team environment.
POSITION SUMMARY
The HR intern position is a developmental role for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree student of Human Resource Management, Business, or other related field to gain practical experience in a human resource function and support the needs of the Human Relations Department. In this capacity, the HR Intern will contribute to successful HR operations for the site. Position is slated to last 12 months
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support full cycle hourly recruitment to include managing internal and external candidate flow systems, screening resumes, interview scheduling, and other duties as assigned
• Conduct new hire onboarding activities
• Serve as resource for employees for various functions (benefits, payroll, policies, etc.)
• Support payroll processing
• Provide HR support for administrative operations in partnership with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)
• With guidance from Head of HR, complete job description revision project
• Assist with reporting such as fluctuation and attendance
• Support the maintenance of employee electronic, paper records, and record retention initiatives
• Participate in planning and execution of communication and engagement activities and programs
• Develop HR work instructions to facilitate consistency and knowledge transfer
• Occasionally shadow hourly employee coaching and performance review discussions
• Support other HR and clerical duties as assigned

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or related field at an accredited college or university
• Overall GPA at a minimum 2.8
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
