Taking these positive developments into account and in order to expand our global presence, CBC is currently seeking a dedicated Launch Manager (m/f/diverse) to strengthen our Interim Management team (CBC consulting area: Operations &Supply Chain).

Your tasks in particular:

  • Project responsibility for global industrialization and launch activities within the Continental Automotive sector
  • Development, coordination and monitoring of requirements and measures of the respective departments as e.g. industrial engineering, logistics, quality, production, purchasing, controlling and R&D, to meet customer requirements and achieve agreed targets
  • Ensuring of punctual customer releases for production facilities and processes through the application of relevant launch management methods within the Automotive Industry, e.g. PPAP, APQP, VDA 6.3
  • Target-oriented coordination of all departments and persons involved through effective use of formats like e.g. workshops, jour fixe, war-rooms
  • Assurance of suitable product design and optimal manufacturing processes
  • Ensuring an effective communication flow between all involved parties, including customers and suppliers through target-oriented information collection and – processing as well as comparison and tracking of measures
  • Controlling and reporting of project progress e.g. in regards to punctuality and budget compliance
  • Effective escalation- and crises management through the application of problem solving methods and target-oriented moderation and mediation
  • Professional behavior and independent acting at our customers in an interdisciplinary and international Environment

  • Academic degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering, (Industrial) Engineering or Mechatronics additional qualification like PhD or MBA desirable
  • Relevant working experience in industrialization and launch management within the Automotive Industry
  • Extensive international working experience, ideally complemented by long-term leadership experience in international and interdisciplinary teams
  • Distinct knowledge of processes and technologies within the Automotive industry, in particular electronics and mechatronics as well as quality management and lean production
  • Pronounced project management skills
  • Business fluent German and English language skills written and spoken, additional languages as an advantage
  • Comprehensive technical understanding as well as strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills and team player attitude
  • Maximum customer-orientation and pronounced problem solving competency
  • Assertiveness and strong negotiating skills
  • High willingness to travel
