The successful establishment as a trusted business partner for all business units within Continental together with continuous gain of experience as well as broad knowledge about products, processes, and entities within the corporation combined with extensive consulting expertise, and project management experience, build the base for our constantly growing order situation. Taking these positive developments into account and in order to expand our global presence, CBC is currently seeking a dedicated Logistics Manager (m/f) to strengthen our Interim Management team (CBC consulting area: Operations & Supply Chain).

Your tasks in particular:

  • Global project responsibility including lead and development of interdisciplinary teams in the logistics sector
  • Independent initiation, coordination and implementation of logistics projects
  • Analysis and optimization of all internal and external logistics workflows through the usage of technical and methodological knowledge e.g. value-stream-analysis, lean
  • Identification, definition and implementation of optimization potential and standards for quality assurance in the logistics sector (e.g. inventory management, supply service)
  • Support of a proper stock management considering transport- and delivery requirements (e.g. import-, export & customs regulations)
  • Assuring target achievement according to agreed timing, cost- and quality targets for global logistics quality (according relevant KPIs)
  • Effective communication across organizational units and active escalation management
  • Exercising a professional behavior and self-independent working style within an interdisciplinary and international Environment

  • University degree preferably in Business/Economics or (Industrial) Engineering with focus on Logistics/Supply Chain or similar
  • Extensive expertise based on long-standing professional experience in the logistics sector
  • Distinct knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes and technologies, especially allocation management, material flow optimization, inventory-, and transport management
  • Strong interest in SCM Data Intelligence, Digital Supply Chain und Warehouse 4.0
  • Knowledge of processes and technologies in the Automotive industry favorable
  • Maximum customer-orientation and pronounced problem solving competency
  • Excellent communication, moderation and presentation skills as well as project- and change management competencies
  • Assertiveness and strong negotiating skills, ideally complemented by long-term leadership experience in international and interdisciplinary teams
  • Business fluent in German and English, both in written and spoken, additional languages advantageous
  • High willingness to travel
