To meet the increasing, company-wide demand of short-term and temporarily available managers, the need of managers being deployed in crises periods or overtaking temporary management or expert roles, the CBC Interim Management Team has been established. This team combines specific expertise and methodological knowledge with a high degree of experience and profound managerial and social competencies to quickly master complex or critical business situations and achieve sustainable success.
The successful establishment as a trusted business partner for all business units within Continental together with continuous gain of experience as well as broad knowledge about products, processes, and entities within the corporation combined with extensive consulting expertise, and project management experience, build the base for our constantly growing order situation. Taking these positive developments into account and in order to expand our global presence, CBC is currently seeking a dedicated Quality Manager (f/m) to strengthen our Interim Management team (CBC consulting area: Operations &Supply Chain).

Your tasks are in detail:

  • Global project responsibility including leadership of interdisciplinary teams
  • Initiating and steering the implementation of quality improvements of purchased parts using proven quality methods and tools e.g. 8D, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis
  • Quality assurance in regards to product launches, implementation of new equipment and coordination of relevant requirements with involved business functions
  • Identification and implementation of improvement potential within the scope of quality assurance
  • Fostering and further developing the Continental Quality Management system according international standards and customer requirements within the Automobile industry
  • Supporting global supplier development as well as planning and implementation of qualification measures and audits with critical suppliers according VDA 6.3
  • Assuring target achievement according to agreed timing, cost- and quality targets
  • Effective communication across organizational units with internal and external escalation management
  • Professional behavior and independent acting at our customers in an interdisciplinary and international environment
  • Degree preferably in Business/Economics or (Industrial) Engineering, additional qualification like PhD or MBA desirable
  • Relevant working experience, ideally complemented by long-term leadership experience in international and interdisciplinary teams
  • Distinct knowledge of processes and technologies within the Automotive industry, in particular regarding Quality as well as expertise in Supplier Management and –audits
  • Profound user expertise based on long-time professional experience with FMEA as well as APQP, PPAP, 8D, auditor training (ISO TS 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3) desirable
  • Business fluent German and English language skills(written and spoken), additional languages as an advantage
  • Excellent communication, moderation and presentation skills
  • Maximum customer-orientation and pronounced problem solving competency
  • Assertiveness and strong negotiating skills
  • High willingness to travel
